Strumming the Pain Away
By: Haziq Asyraf
There’s something about a guitar that heals in silence. When words fall short and tears refuse to stop, the strings speak. Each chord, each vibration, carries the weight of what I can’t say. In those quiet moments, sitting by the window with soft light bleeding through the curtain, my guitar becomes my therapist.
It doesn’t ask why I’m hurting. It just listens. And somehow, in the act of playing, I let go. Heartbreak still lingers but it feels lighter. Music may not fix everything, but it knows how to hold you while you heal.
