Alone, On Purpose

By: Daniellia Fariesya

It wasn’t about adventure or ticking boxes. I travelled alone because I was tired mentally, emotionally, everything. I needed space to feel, to fall apart a little, and maybe, to find the pieces I lost along the way. No one else, just me, my thoughts, and the silence that didn’t ask questions.

This wasn’t a vacation. This was survival. My version of entertainment? A quiet table for one, walking without a plan, and finally letting myself breathe without needing to smile for anyone but me
