Is Dandadan the Next Big Thing in Anime? A Full Review

      Dandadan is a supernatural action-comedy anime adapted from Yukinobu Tatsu’s popular manga. I reviewed it because of the rising hype, unique genre mix, and standout animation. The story follows Momo Ayase, a ghost believer, and Ken “Okarun” Takakura, who believes in aliens. Their beliefs are challenged as they face bizarre supernatural forces, leading to intense psychic-alien battles and a growing friendship. 

    Animated by Science SARU, the series has vibrant visuals, wild creature designs, and dynamic action scenes that blend chaos and comedy. 

    The show shines with its mix of horror, sci-fi, humor, and heart, although some parts can feel overly chaotic or fast-paced. Still, it balances serious and funny moments well. Dandadan is an exciting watch for fans of Jujutsu Kaisen or Chainsaw Man, and I’ll definitely keep watching as new episodes are released.
